Picks of the Day…

Designing for the modern family and full of personality is the design team of Courtney and Bob Novogratz. Their HGTV shows years ago were an entertaining view into their family and design business with a dose of Courtney’s Southern charm! Seven children and working together is challenging, but they excelled with grace and charm by respecting each other and recognizing each other’s talents – great family lesson for us all!

Since the shows, they have launched product lines through a few different retailers, but now the line is offered on Amazon. I have purchased a few of these items, and they are great for families as the style is on point while the price is very reasonable. Kids and pets are welcome!

This vintage green tufted futon is in my oldest daughter’s room -she likes a bohemian style and wanted a futon for friends hanging out in her room – this has been perfect! Style is better than expected for the price and it’s on Amazon!!

Gorgeous light fixture is in my cart for my daughter’s bathroom update – modern lines and brass finish highlight the details of this fixture like the fixed stem, and the price is too good to pass up!

Love these artsy patches for stocking stuffers for my teen girls – enamel pins and patches are making a comeback!

This rug says it all! When this design first debuted, it was always out of stock! Love this for a playful family room or kids’ media room – great art piece for a neutral room. Colors are new and the pile is so plush – a must have for the new year! Grab yours before they are gone!

The Novogratz version of the bunny chair is a modern classic! I chose these chairs for a yogurt shop with clean lines, but they are perfect for a craft table or a casual dining space. The bent plywood technique was pioneered by my design favorites, Ray and Charles Eames (more on this duo to come) and are very comfortable. The Amazon price is unbelievable!
One of the easiest ways to update your family Home is buying high style within your budget – the Novogratz line on Amazon is a great way to do that! Happy Shopping!

Maybe I connected with this design duo because of my large family and design business which are always intertwined as I journey through my days. Speaker phone calls in carpool lines with contractors, site visits with a child en route to an after school piano lesson, and the endless supply of finish samples floating around our lives are just a few of the norms in our daily routine.
It’s a colorful life and we love it! MHD
